Knox Marketing Wins SIAA Best of Show
We’ve won Best of Show and Gold by the Service Industry Advertising Awards for our work on the Ronald McDonald House Akron Groundbreaking campaign!
We’re thrilled to win this award for such a great community organization. Ronald McDonald House Akron is committed to helping as many families with children facing health challenges as they can. They provide these families a home. Allowing them to be close to Akron Children’s Hospital and spend more time with their children in a comforting, warm, peaceful environment.

In total, we took home 9 awards.
In addition to the Ronald McDonald Akron Groundbreaking campaign, we also won 2 Gold Awards for our work with the Akron Marathon and Civista Bank; 4 Silver Awards for our work with the Akron Marathon, Eastside ENT Specialists, NOPEC (the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council), and SummaCare; and 2 Bronze Awards for our work with Civista Bank.

What’s a SIAA Anyways?
The SIAA began in 2003 to recognize the advertising excellence of the service industry. Other advertising awards are dominated by consumer goods, packaged goods and other tangible products. The SIAA is the only advertising awards to specifically recognize the creativity and communication accomplishments of the service industry.
This year, there were over 1,600 entries from more than 525 advertising agencies and over 730 institutions. 282 entries were awarded and only 6 received Best of Show. Entries were rated in 8 groups and 26 categories. A national panel of judges reviewed every entry based on execution, creativity, quality, consumer appeal, and overall breakthrough.
