Knox Marketing’s work for the Akron Marathon earns top honors in the MarCom Awards 2017.

It wasn’t easy. We were competing with agencies from 19 countries, who produced work for brands like Samsung, IBM, PepsiCo and Google.

We finished strong with three MarCom Platinum awards for the Akron Marathon, Children’s Hospital of Michigan Foundation and our own Knox website. We also brought home five MarCom Gold awards for Civista Bank, Crystal Clinic, Knox Community Hospital, Ronald McDonald House of Akron and NOPEC (the Northeast Ohio Public Energy Council).

So what’s a MarCom Award?

MarCom Awards is an international creative competition. This year, it received over 6,500 entries from ad agencies, PR firms, production companies, corporate marketing departments and freelancers.

It’s administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, a global organization of several thousand creative pros.
